David Gibson started his career in the entertainment industry in 1984 working behind the scenes for local event production and sound firms in Washington D.C. From 1986 until 1990, he attended and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Design and Production. From 1990 until 2002, he toured internationally with theatrical and dance productions. From 2002 until 2007 he served as the Director of Production at Jazz at Lincoln Center's, Frederick P. Rose Hall, leading the start up production team for the performance facilities at the Time Warner Center. In this capacity, he worked on strategic planning, labor negotiations and budget planning. In 2008 he began to focus on growing GES to its full potential.

Since moving to New York in 1991, David has consulted clients on touring operations, recording projects, facility planning, technical operations, sound system and acoustic design, special events, and production needs for the development of performing arts facilities. He has produced performances in Africa, South America, Asia, and all over Europe, in more than 20 countries. He has supervised all areas of production and is skilled at providing guidance and useful advice for program and budget development for capital projects, concert and facility production, and operating budgets. He has planned and managed the execution of hundreds of new productions. David brings the ability to translate technical details into a full-scale budget, and in turn, provide guidance and advice for executive level decision-making.

Sarah Alexander

Sarah L. Alexander is an Arts Management professional with extensive experience in touring logistics and full scale production execution.

Sarah toured with Ailey II and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as Company Management to 47 states and 16 countries. In 2009 she moved to New Zealand to pursue a position with the New Zealand International Arts Festival as an Events Team Leader at the Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa in Wellington. Upon returning to the United States, Sarah took on a role in the management office of New York City Center, focusing on the execution of contracts and logistics for the renowned Fall for Dance Festival and Encores! musical theater series. In 2012 Sarah was invited to return to her roots at the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation as the Production Manger for The Ailey School where she grew and improved the department for the following five years. There, her focus was on budget management, contract execution, full-scale production team and logistics fulfillment, comprehensive season ticket management and front of house staffing. Sarah is a proud alumna of Ithaca College.

Sarah joined GES in 2017 as the Director of Operations. Her diverse experience, flexibility and ability to connect with clients and usher them through the production process to realize a flawlessly executed event is what makes her an asset to the team.
