The Daily Beast produced the first ever Women in the World Summit co-hosted by Vital Voices, Diane Von Furstenberg and U.N. Foundation at theHudson Theater in The Millennium Broadway Hotel.As the Production Director for the event and with only 3 weeks lead time, I planned and executed complete production services for the three-day conference which brought together many of the most remarkable women in politics, social activism, media, and business. Key speakers included formerSecretaries of State Hillary Clinton and Madeleine Albright, Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Katie Couric, Barbara Walters, Christiane Amanpour, and many others.We provided technical direction, stage management, production staff and crew management, event design services, all production equipment systems, and led the overall coordination with the Millennium Hotel
